FRAME

Based on a KCC-Frame which had been reinforced in several important areas incl. a new frontend and rearend for fully independent A-arm suspension. powdercoated, fully cladded in aluminium panels  Use of countersunk rivets on bottomplate for a smooth surface Use of stainless steel bolts whereever possible.

SUSPENSION

Front
The front suspension comprises unequal length offset A-frame wishbones with an adjustable anti-roll bar linkage.  Hightensile CrNi-rosejoints throughout. Caster, camber and toe-in are all easily adjustable. . The lower wishbone is braced. The front uprights are Granada.V6.

Rear
The rear suspension geometry as per original consists of independent double trailing links with inverted A-frame wishbones, upper transverse links and an adjustable anti-roll bar linkage coupled to steel uprights from an UK -model.(GTD)   The rear suspension  features 16 adjustable high tensile CrNi-rosejoints, maintenancefree.(Dont ask for the price!!)

Bilstein Shocks allround with H+R springs,adjustable. All suspensionparts powdercoated. High tensile 12.9bolts on all suspension pickup points.

BRAKES

Front:new BMW E36 callipers with
300 mm Diameter vented rotors
Rear: Golf 3 callipers incl handbrake with
300 mm Diameter rotors

Bias pedal box (Wilwood),adjustable front to rear

WHEELS

15"BRM style centerlock rims ,8"/10"wide, with 215/225-60 Tyres

STEERING

Rack and Pinion. (Lotus 7). Steering column stainless steel outer with steering shaft in ball bearings. Detachable Leather steering wheel 300mm.

FUEL SYSTEM

2 stainless tanks with baffles ,aprox 10 gal. per side. Stainless braided lines with anodized AN-aluminium fittings. Holley fuelpump.

COOLING SYSTEM

Front mounted aluminium radiator with twin auxillary electric fan

with manual override.  Thermostatically/electronically controlled electric waterpump. Aluminium watertubing throughout, heat insulated in tunnel area.

INTERIOR

The interior is designed as a race car should look like.. A full aluminium interior, padded leather dashboard, leather steering wheel, 2 Ergonomically sound leather-clad  seats . 4 point racing seatbelts.

Additional  legroom to accommodate anyone up to 6’4”.  pedal box can be adjusted. (Im 1,94tall).

VDO electronic gauges complete with chrome bezel 

Sidewindows not mounted , but come with the car.

ELECTRICAL

The electrical circuits are fused and relayed, with a front-mounted battery. There is a battery master isolator switch.  BMW alternater.
 

ENGINE
 

FORD 302 HO (95) V8 engine,aprox 10,2:1 compression, 340Hp,  original hydr. roller cam overhauled incl. new bearings ,ARP headstuds, ARP rodbolts, pistonrings, oilpump, timing chain.

NEW aluminium AFR 165 CNC-heads, these heads are a bolton 80hp upgrade as tested in HOTROD magazine.

600 Holley carb on airgap-dualplane Manifold, portmatched to heads.

new electronic distributor and cables

180° exhaustheaders, ceramic coated, with street mufflers and race pipes optional.

GILO flywheel 50 oz. balance with 6-puk sintered disc and reinforced clutch.

TRANSMISSION 

AUDI 5speed gearbox, (UW) Diesel box
